The FINE workshop, “Investing into Fintech: Possibilities for Regional Investors in the European Market,” held during the CROWD-FUND-MATCH meeting in Vilnius, Lithuania, was a significant step forward in advancing the fintech investment landscape. With more than 20 participants, the event was a great opportunity to showcase FINE to the audience.

Hosted in partnership between Romanian Fintech Association and CrowdfundingHub, the event brought together investors, thought leaders, and innovators to explore the regional fintech ecosystem. The presentations highlighted the FINE – Fintech Investor Network and Ecosystem and its tools designed to foster investor engagement in emerging markets. The workshop successfully identified opportunities for regional investors and strengthened connections between public authorities and fintechs. It also underscored the importance of cross-border investments and the role of inclusivity in fintech development.
During the session, both the FINE and DivAirCity projects were presented, showcasing how they complement each other in fostering innovation and sustainability. While FINE focuses on building an inclusive fintech investment network across Europe, DivAirCity addresses urban environmental challenges through diversity and citizen participation. The collaboration between EU-funded initiatives highlights the shared commitment to creating sustainable, inclusive ecosystems—whether in finance or urban development.
