On March 5th, 2024, the Fintech Investor Network and Ecosystem was present at the InterTradeIreland Venture Capital Conference 2024 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, through The Fintech Corridor‘s representatives, Robert McConnell and Hilary Moran.
The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Accessing Venture Funding in 2024’ and this theme will feature throughout the programme of keynote addresses, panel discussions and breakout sessions. One of the panel sessions was “Shifting the Paradigm: Women Angels Shaping the Future of Investment” with Denise McQuaid from AwakenAngels, part of the expert panel from the FINE Launch Webinar.
The project was introduced to attendees with an exhibition space, in which people could learn more about FINE and the Matchmaking Network possibilities for investors in Ireland. The event was very successful in producing great discussions about future investments and gender balance.
